A Spring flower mug full of secrets makes an inspired gift for any person who loves their flowers.
This design is from an original watercolour painting by Susan featuring the wild flowers in and around her country garden. Susan has always been a very keen gardener and since a very young age has had a keen interest in painting and researching the wild flowers she finds on her travels.
In Victorian times flower names had hidden meanings. This was called Floriography and inspired the Victorian Book “The Language of the Flowers” first published in 1884 and illustrated by Kate Greenaway
Please have a look at our blog on Floriography
In addition, you might like to look at the Royal Horticultural Society’s website to find out anything you may wish to know about flowers!
The mug may be personalised with a name, date and place hidden amongst the flowers making this a mug full of secrets.
A personalised message may be added to the base.
This design is also available on our popular 2 pint tankard jug. Why not combine the two to make a beautiful gift for that special someone who loves their flowers?
