This piece of china is inspired by the ‘The Language of Flowers’ called Floriography. Meanings have been attributed to flowers for centuries and it became very popular in Victorian times to send flowers as a way to convey secret messages. Susan has used the design from her original watercolour of wild flowers and adapted it to include the language of flowers and the inclusion of a name, date and place hidden in the text gives the piece its title of a “Dish Full of Secrets’. The dish is finished with a hand painted complementary green rim.

A beautiful gift for anyone with an appreciation of flowers.

A personalised message may also be added to the base.

The design is also available on our beautiful 2 pint tankard jugs, 1/2 pint tankard mugs and our lovely new contemporary teapot.

Once your order is received, we will put together representative artwork of your finished china, email it back to you and ask you to approve it before we proceed.

All our china is handmade and handcrafted by one of our skilled china makers in the Longton region of Stoke -on-Trent.

The china is gift wrapped in an English made presentation box.

We at Susan Rose China are proud to support British manufacturing at its finest.
