July is the second month of summer and traditionally the warmest
On the lid is part of a poem by John Clare ‘ Daisies’, ye flowers of lowly birth embroiderers of the carpet earth’
Around the waist of the base there is a quote from the poet Minnie Aumonier – “There is always music amongst the trees in the garden, but our hearts must be very quiet to hear it”.
A name and date may be added to the inside base and a further personalised message may be added to the bottom of the china.
The china is finished in hand painted metallic gold.
