Description

The profile of the flamingo has increased in recent years with some justification. They are fascinating birds and these fun mugs give a flavour of some of the interesting facts associated with them.

Susan’s interest in flamingos developed after meeting the world flamingo expert Christopher Marler.

She learnt that there are six different species, they mate for life and they have the ability to detect oncoming rain.

The design of the mug shows images taken from Susan’s original hand drawn pictures of flamingos within pink and grey text.

The mug is finished with hand painted metallic silver rims top and bottom and silver flashing on the handle.

A personal message can be added to the base.

All our china is handmade and handcrafted by one of our skilled china makers in the Longton district of Stoke-on-Trent.

The china is gift wrapped in an English made presentation box.

Susan Rose China is proud to support British manufacturing at its finest.
