Our Christmas robin mug celebrates the role of robins which became part of Christmas tradition in Victorian times, when postmen in red uniforms—nicknamed “robins”—delivered the first Christmas cards.
Artists soon added the bird to their designs, and it grew into a symbol of warmth, good wishes, and gentle reminders of loved ones.
This mug celebrates this long-loved tradition and the quiet comfort the robin brings to the festive season.
The mug are available in 1/4 pint and 1/2 pint sizes and may be personalised with a name on the inside rim.
The piece is finished top and bottom with hand painted green rims.
