A mug full of puffins

Description

Inspired from photographing puffins on Skomer Island, Susan has designed a mug full of puffins

All of the images have been hand drawn by Susan and are interspersed with interesting facts about the lives of puffins

The mug is finished with a hand painted black rim

The mug can be personalised with a name / text on the inside rim

Puffins, endearing and distinctive seabirds, are found in the northern coastal regions of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Renowned for their striking appearance, they boast vibrant orange, yellow, and blue beaks, along with black and white plumage. Puffins are exceptional divers, using their wings to propel through water in pursuit of small fish and crustaceans. They nest in burrows on cliffs, forming densely populated colonies. These birds are not only adorable but also ecologically significant, as their activities help regulate local marine food chains. Sadly, some puffin populations face threats from habitat loss and changing ocean conditions due to climate change
