Description

This English bone china tankard mug forms part of our “Remembrance” range of mugs, all of which were designed by Susan for The Royal British Legion to mark various events in our military history.

From the years covering The Great War to more recent history such as The Falklands War, 75 years since VE Day & D-Day and the 80th anniversary of The Battle of Britain together with mugs looking at the military history of our Armed Services.

This mug depicts events from the 2nd year of the 1st World War and references such events as the sinking of the Lusitania, the shooting of Edith Cavell, the first deployment of a tank and features the words “In Flanders fields the Poppies Blow” by John McCrae.

The mug may be personalised by adding a name to the inside rim and the mug is finished with a hand-painted contemporary black rim.

All our china is hand-made and hand-decorated in the Longton district of Stoke-on-Trent.

The china is gift wrapped in an English made presentation box.
