Having engaged Susan Rose China to produce specially commissioned Dinner plates and Side plates for use in The Royal Box at Royal Windsor Horse Show and The Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebration; the personal service and professionalism we experienced was exemplary. Great care was taken to produce a final product that was as close to our brief as we could have expected. The plates were much admired by all our Royal Box lunch and dinner guests.
Working with Susan Rose on the development of the china to mark the Shackleton Centenary voyages has been an outstanding project. We replicated this tradition of the Heroic age that saw fine china made specifically for the voyages and were the first to do so in modern polar history. With Susan Rose’s expertise and passion for the subject – the Shackleton Centenary china was an exquisite edition to the three voyages honouring the Imperial Trans Antarctic Expedition. We believe this is just the beginning of a special relationship with Susan Rose China.
We’re a group of school friends who have been together for nearly 50 years. I wanted to mark our 60th birthdays with something memorable. We love our horse racing so I wanted something with a racing theme. Viv and Charles at Susan Rose turned my idea into a fantastic cuff link dish with jockey silks in our school colours.
